I just cannot see how a touchscreen capable monitor is not able to have touch capabilities on Windows 10, it seems to ridiculous to me and also I am sure it is possible to make it work.
Touching user interface elements was imprecise and, at times, very difficult. Product sold without warranty: I did have some software issues as, after Windows Plug and Play PnP had detected the new hardware, it was still using the monitor. The reason why I posted here is because the touchscreen drivers that seem to be working now are actually made by Windows. Best that we could suggest is to keep posted for any new updates from HP for available software for your laptop.

Sorry, your blog cannot share posts by email. By contrast, on a Windows touchscreen PC, that same situation could toudh the touch outside up button. HP Download and Install Assistant makes it easy to download and install your software. On the monitor however, even though it is a touchscreen model, it doesn not show up in Windows' "Pen and Touch Devices", AND there is not option to turn on the touchscreen in the HID driver section of the Device Manager. Sadly, Windows Touch is not yet ready for mainstream use and is only really suitable for applications that have been written specifically for touch.

Modify your browser's settings to allow Javascript to execute. HP encountered an error while trying to scan your product. This product cannot be identified tpuch Serial Number alone. Select the correct monitor in the Display field. There was no evidence of any Mac OS software although I had no problems using it connected to a Mac either albeit as a dumb monitor without touch input capabilities.
