The linux distros run on another hard drive. Gnw-p01gs is the OS I'm currently running. It goes completely dead and you need a cold boot. Under ndisgtk, I installed the xp windows driver, and it says hardware is connected.
I'm using this wireless card: Open Source Consulting Domain Registration. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of gigaabyte Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own. Ironically Windows XP works without a hitch. Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux? Are you new to LinuxQuestions.
Incidentally I read on another forum that some RT61 cards crash this system if you lose the wireless signal. Gigabyte Wireless card setup?? Any suggestions would be glgabyte. When it does crash, the system doesn't respond to any emergency keystrokes, and the mouse doesn't move.

I'm using a fresh install of Ubunto 6. I'm totally loving it except for the following issue. All of these distros crash when the card is used.
Under the networking gui, i think it only holds 13 characters. Right now I'm usuing my ethernet cable from my other computer, but I need to get the wireless working.
